Description
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent! We are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with remarkable companies in need of their skills. Our goal is to create fulfilling job opportunities for professionals around the world. Our client is a leader in Amazon and e-retail marketing. They partner with brands to unlock growth across Vendor Central, Seller Central, and platforms like Walmart.com and Target.com. Their team brings a balance of strategic insight, data-driven decision-making, and client partnership to help brands scale profitably in complex retail environments. They're looking for an Amazon Performance & Client Strategy Manager to serve as the primary client-facing lead across a portfolio of Amazon-focused accounts. This role sits at the intersection of performance analysis, client communication, and internal strategy alignment. You will not be responsible for all day-to-day campaign execution. Instead, you will own performance storytelling, reporting, and strategic guidance, while providing informed, actionable feedback to backend Amazon Ads teams executing the media. This role is ideal for someone who previously worked hands-on in Amazon PPC and has evolved into a strategic, client-facing operator. Over half of your time will be spent synthesizing performance, building decks, leading client conversations, and translating data into clear direction for both clients and internal teams. Responsabilities Client Strategy & Communication Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Amazon accounts. Lead recurring client calls and performance reviews with director-level stakeholders. Translate complex Amazon Ads performance into clear, concise narratives tied to business outcomes. Build and present performance decks that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and next steps. Manage client expectations through proactive communication and structured reporting. Performance Analysis & Reporting Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance recaps across Amazon Advertising programs. Analyze KPIs including sales growth, TACoS, ROAS, keyword SOV, and organic rank movement. Identify performance drivers and blockers, and clearly articulate what is working and why. Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across accounts and internal dashboards. Amazon Ads Oversight & Internal Feedback Review backend Amazon Ads execution to ensure strategy aligns with agreed objectives. Provide clear, constructive feedback to Amazon Ads specialists executing campaigns. Audit campaign structure, targeting logic, and budget allocation at a strategic level. Flag risks, inefficiencies, or missed opportunities and guide the team on corrective actions. Serve as a quality-control layer between execution teams and clients. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with media buyers, SEO, content, and analytics teams to align priorities. Translate client feedback into clear internal direction and action items. Help maintain focus on the highest-impact initiatives to avoid reactive or low- value work Time-allocation 50–60% performance analysis, reporting, deck creation, and client communication 25–30% account oversight, strategy alignment, and internal feedback Core Requirements Prior hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns. Strong understanding of Amazon Sponsored Ads, keyword strategy, and budget pacing Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. English C1-C2 fluency. Proven ability to present performance insights clearly and confidently to clients. Experience building structured decks and performance presentations. Ability to give direct, thoughtful feedback to execution teams. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail Ideal Background Former Amazon PPC Manager who has transitioned into a strategic or client-facing role. Experience working with multiple brands or agencies. Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders. Ability to prioritize, synthesize, and simplify complex data. Less micromanaging, more freedom, more ownership. Remote-Work Friendly Full-time contractor role Competitive salary in USD 2500 - 3500 gross/month
