Description AMBA is seeking talented, outgoing, eager Interns to join our growing teams! We are looking for students entering their senior, or junior year of college, with a 3.0+ GPA. Our reach extends to diverse groups, including hardworking public employees, state retirees, educators, military personnel, trade professionals, firefighters, law enforcement, Unions, Alumni groups, Allied Healthcare, and other non-profit associations. As a full-service marketing and membership development company, we proudly offer outstanding insurance services to our vast network of 44 million members across 450+ associations in all 50 states. About the Program The AMBA Internship Program allows a diverse and skillful group of students to gain exposure to a real-world setting in corporate America through project-based roles in various departments and locations. This is a 10-week in-office program starting in June, running through August. Students will work with various employees and the company's management to complete a project, or assist in vital operations of the business. Following the end of the summer, the students will get the chance to travel to the main office and present their findings to other interns and executive leadership. Our offices are in Arizona, Texas, Iowa, and Utah. Our current open internships are listed below. Intern Opportunities People Operations Human Resources Intern: (Urbandale, IA or Austin, TX) The primary project of the Human Resources Intern is to enhance people leader readiness by building a comprehensive training repository that consolidates HR policies, tools, and leadership resources into one accessible location. Legal and Compliance Intern: (Urbandale, IA) The primary project of the Legal and Compliance Intern is to work alongside the Compliance team and other business units to review and update current processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Communications Intern: (Austin, TX) The primary project of the Communications Intern is to support internal events, routine communications, and cross-departmental creation and improvement of the company website while gaining hands-on experience in corporate communications. Business Association Relations Intern: (Austin, TX) The primary project for the Association Relations Intern is to assist and support the client onboarding process by identifying gaps and helping streamline workflows for new clients. Association Relations Intern: (Urbandale, IA) The primary project for the Association Relations Intern is to build a repeatable financial model and a set of standardized response templates that AMBA can use when responding to RFPs. Alumni Relations Intern: (Urbandale, IA) The primary project for the Alumni Relations Intern is to assist in creating a new end-to-end experience for prospective and existing customers. The intern will research new opportunities for reaching prospective customers in addition to current strategies. Customer Service Intern: (Austin, TX) The primary project for the Customer Service Intern is to develop a comprehensive career growth and development plan for the Customer Service team that accelerates leadership initiatives and supports career progression. Strategic Accounts Intern: (Urbandale, IA) The primary project for the Strategic Accounts Intern is to support key operational accounts, and growth initiatives that strengthen risk management, ensure quality, and improve scalability. Strategy Intern: (Austin, TX) The primary project for the Strategy Intern is to support AMBA’s strategic maturity by researching industry benchmarks and assisting in the development of the Senior Leadership Strategy Meeting. Finance Finance Interns: (Austin, TX) The primary project of the Finance Interns is to partner closely with the VP of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer to support active deals and help build a pipeline of future opportunities, while gaining experience in financial analysis, reporting, and special projects. Marketing SEO Marketing Intern: (Urbandale, IA/ Salt Lake City, UT) The primary project for the SEO Marketing Intern is to execute high-impact, repeatable SEO initiatives that accelerate organic traffic growth for clients. Marketing Intern: (Urbandale IA) The primary project for the Marketing Intern is to assist in streamlining and standardizing direct mail processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across the department. IT Information Technology Intern: (Urbandale, IA) The primary project of the Information Technology Intern is to learn how IT projects are managed at AMBA and assist with project management activities for key IT initiatives, including tracking status, timelines, risks, and issues. Requirements Work out of an AMBA office for 4 days out of the week, working remotely on Fridays. (AMBA does not provide housing accommodation or relocation.) 3.0+ GPA Pursuing a degree in a field related to requested internship opportunity.
