The Ambassador serves 15 hours or less each week in a defined area by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission and live the FCA Values. The Ambassador is accountable for ensuring that the FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to FCA policies and procedures.   MINISTERIAL DUTIES These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship. * Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement. * Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA. * Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others. * Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement. * Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times. MINISTRY ADVANCEMENT * Engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes and volunteers by ministering through 1-on-1s, Huddles and Events. * Work alongside the supervisor to train and equip volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples. TALENT ADVANCEMENT * Work alongside the supervisor to recruit, train and develop a diverse group of volunteers in assigned Sports Environment(s) with the purpose of leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. DONOR ADVANCEMENT * Supervisor may ask to engage in support raising by connecting, communicating and caring for donors with appropriate training. INTERNATIONAL ADVANCEMENT * Work alongside supervisor to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going. Qualifications A heart for God.  Someone who loves Jesus unashamedly, who has a hunger to grow in God’s Word. A love for people and a humble spirit in leading and serving others.    A strong sense of urgency / passion to reach “the Lost” with the message of the Gospel.   The ability to communicate the vision and mission of the organization with others.    A “team player”, willing to build relationships with and work with other FCA staff, coaches, volunteers, and local churches.    Emotional and spiritual maturity in personal relationships.    Moral integrity. We’re not looking for perfection, but someone with a track record of credible leadership.   A passion for and a strong background in the sport of wrestling.  Every sport has its own culture, and this is especially true in the wrestling community.  Our Ambassador for FCA Wrestling should have experience, knowledge, and some decent credentials in the sport.     Someone who is faithful.  None of us are perfect, but this person’s life should also demonstrate a history of “faithfulness” and perseverance in serving God, their family, and their community.   Strong Organizational and Administrative Skills   Positive and joyful engaging attitude   Creative ability to think "outside the box”   Ideal Candidate committed to following Christ with excellent character   Able to Lead, Inspire and Disciple Athletes and Coaches to lead wrestlers Huddles   Establish Impactful Presence at our Engagement functions, Camps, Tournaments, Events with FCA Wrestling resources to fulfill our Mission and Vision
