Summary: The Clinical Integration Specialist RN works directly with licensed staff in newly acquired practices to assimilate Children's Health processes into workflows where appropriate. Serves as primary RN preceptor at the practice to provide resources and education to validate competencies. Responsibilities: * Evaluates practices through focused sessions and observations of licensed staff, as well as unlicensed clinical staff, to learn current workflows and plan best approach if change is necessary * Provides input on workflow development and implementation * Uses clinical judgment based on nursing skills acquired through formal and informal experiential knowledge and evidence-based guidelines to communicate with staff clearly and accurately * Participates in licensed staff role recruitment process and provides input on candidate selection * Provides information and facilitates learning for licensed staff in coordination with Program Director of Clinical Operations, Lab Manager and Clinical Educator * Ensures licensed staff deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to organizational guidelines and policies. Provides example of care delivery that is focused on customer relations, consistent with RN scope and departmental policies * Serves as primary RN preceptor at the practice and provide resources and education to validate competencies * Provides direct, on-site clinical guidance to newly acquired practices for a minimum of 3 months to ensure continuity of information and serve as a consistent resource for staff How You’ll Be Successful: WORK EXPERIENCE * At least 1 year Experience as a preceptor or educator/teaching experience Required * At least 2 years Direct patient care experience as a RN in an Ambulatory care setting Required EDUCATION * Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required for this role Required * Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS * Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas Upon Hire Required * Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements Upon Hire Required * PACES certification 180 Days Required * National specialty certification appropriate for area(s) of responsibility Preferred A Place Where You Belong We put our people first. Responsibilities

The Clinical Integration Specialist RN works with licensed staff in newly acquired practices to integrate Children's Health processes into workflows. They provide direct clinical guidance and education to ensure competent care delivery.
