Overview Office Location: UF Heat & Vascular 100 Whetstone Place, St. Augustine,Florida,32086 The Registered Echo and Vascular Technologist will be responsible for assisting medical staff in clinical tests to diagnose or assess the status of cardiac and vascular disease in a clinical setting. Responsibilities Performs echo and vascular diagnostic studies according to established clinic protocols, using training and knowledge to apply appropriate tests to arrive at meaningful results. Use of ultrasound instruments and non-invasive arterial pressure measurement techniques. Reports tests to Manager or Interpreting Physician in a timely manner. Maintains written and computer-based patient records with accuracy. Travel may be required to cover other clinical locations. Perform all other duties as assigned by management within job scope. Qualifications Education / Training High School Diploma/Equivalent Experience Requirements 1-year Adult Echo and Vascular Sonography Preferences: Experience with PACS and EMR Ability to work independently in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Certificates/Licenses/Registration BLS Certification Adult Cardiac and Vascular Registry - ARDMS or CCI
