Temple Health’s Pediatric Department under Temple Faculty Practice division is searching for an RN Manager. Details below: Specialty • Pediatrics in an ambulatory outpatient setting across two clinic sites Direct Reports • Approximately 15 staff • Roles: Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants Hours • Core Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM •Extended operations: Two evenings per week until 7:00 PM and some Saturdays as scheduled. •RN Manager ensures leadership coverage during extended hours Primary Location • Women’s & Families (Temple Women’s Center) & Temple Main 1331 E Wyoming Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124 | 3401 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19140 Job Summary • Directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit. Maintains standards of service excellence and nursing practice. Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care. Responsible for staffing, budget, control of expenses, continuing development and education of staff, performance improvement, and human resource management. Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in their work performance. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related specialty preferred. Education • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Required) • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing (Required) Experience • 5 years experience as a RN in a clinical specialty area (Required) • 1 year experience in a clinical leadership role (Preferred) Licenses • PA Registered Nurse License (Required) • Basic Life Support (Required)
