The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as phone triage, scheduling appointments, nurse protocols, patient education, prescription refill, completing FMLA/STD paperwork, and other related tasks as needed. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Graduate of a NLN, ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) At least one year of nursing experience required, preferably in cardiology Previous medical office/outpatient experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as phone triage, scheduling appointments, and patient education. Additional tasks include prescription refills and completing FMLA/STD paperwork as needed.
