  • 29 hours per week - Saturday - Sunday (6am – 9.30pm)
    We are looking for an experienced and reliable chef to prepare and serve amazing meals over the weekend period, in a sole charge capacity. The shifts to be filled are Saturday – Sunday (6.00am -9.30pm) based at the Ambury Café on site at the Fonterra factory in Takanini.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare, cook, and serve wholesome food to a set menu
  • Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Adapt menus to cater for varied dietary requirements
  • Advise kitchen staff on cooking procedures and techniques
  • Demonstrate understanding of, and ability to implement New Zealand Food Control and safety regulations
  • Operate at a level that can take responsibility as sole chef on duty when required
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
