Techblazers is looking for a skilled tutor who can help students sharpen their reasoning, master competition strategies, and achieve outstanding results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong proficiency in competition-level mathematics (AMC 8/10/12 or higher).
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring math competition students (2 years preferred).
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and inspire problem-solving confidence.
  • Familiarity with number theory, combinatorics, algebra, and geometry at the contest level.
  • Teaching certification, math degree, or competition achievements (e.g. high AMC score, AIME qualification) are assets.
Responsibilities
  • Teach core topics and problem-solving techniques relevant to AMC 8/10/12 competitions.
  • Analyze past contest problems with students, demonstrating multiple approaches and strategies.
  • Develop lesson plans tailored to varying skill levels within small groups.
  • Provide challenging assignments that build mathematical creativity and logical thinking.
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction to address weaknesses.
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents about student performance and competition readiness.
