Description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To develop, coordinate and control aircraft Base maintenance events by ensuring optimal use of manpower, materials, and hangar resources to support efficient workflow execution, cost-effective operations, and industry-leading turnaround times (TAT). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops detailed project plans, work packages, and maintenance schedules for heavy checks, modifications, and any other maintenance tasks required. Coordinates task sequencing and resource allocation to minimize downtime and meet Turn Around Time (TAT) targets, while monitoring productivity and adjust work plans to maintain optimum staffing levels. Monitors task progress through status reviews and performance tracking and adjusts plans based on findings and evolving operational requirements. Ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) instructions, and company standards including Safety management System (SMS). Analyzes production costs and identify opportunities to reduce wastage, rework, and overtime while maintaining maintenance quality and efficiency. Plans and distributes workload according to technician skillsets, certifications, and availability. Identifies bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process gaps across maintenance workflows. Uses proven business methodologies to improve shop floor completion rates and reduce turn-around time. Embraces and champions digital tools, dashboards, and planning software to enhance transparency and decision-making. Acts as the central coordination point between engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams. Leads daily/weekly production meetings and report status, risks, and recovery plans. Provide clear communication regarding work progress, delays, and expected completion dates to stakeholder. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) Degree in Aviation or maintenance related discipline Fluent in English Experience in base maintenance planning related position Experience in business process improvement, Audit finding resolution Experience in developing complex plans AMOS, Microsoft suite of tools and/or equivalent Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years Aircraft maintenance license advantageous COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Teamwork Effective Communication Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude) ISR REQUIREMENTS Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
