JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year college diploma in office administration plus up to one-year related experience; or a combination of experience, education and training that is considered equivalent;
  • Proven computer skills, specifically in MS Office, Navision, spreadsheets, and databases;
  • Experience with Topdesk IT Ordering and Reporting;
  • Experience with Chrome Management Deployment;
  • Experience with Apple Volume Purchase Plan;
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs from time to time;
  • Proficient and accurate keyboarding skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • The capacity to work independently, problem-solve and multi-task in a busy environment; and,
  • Proven professional, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Entering purchase requests into Navision;
  • Shipping and receiving purchases at the Learning Resources Centre;
  • Entering school, user and device data into a database;
  • Assisting with the configuration and set-up of iPads, Chromebooks, etc.;
  • Assisting with the volume purchase and distribution of apps through Apple’s Volume Purchase Program for Education;
  • Responding to inquiries of staff and administration regarding purchasing procedures for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or referral for addressing inquiry;
  • Following up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates;
  • Tracking iPad breakage and ensure LRC stock is maintained; and,
  • Other related duties as assigned by administration
