JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As the AME Lead Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design and development of test system software and hardware within the operations environments of the Integrated Supply chain. The position will develop distributed software applications and hardware designs for real-time automated test system solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or in Science Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) & proven experience in development of automated test systems
  • National Instruments LabView and/or TestStand experience
Responsibilities
  • Lead test system development on standard test platform for new product introductions, including concept, architecture, documentation, design/code development, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service
  • Responsible to identify hardware in test system and design product interface fixture needed to fulfil product test requirements.
  • Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas
  • Responsible for test coverage, performance and on-time delivery
  • Ensure early focus on manufacturability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance
