Belcan Inc. is looking for an AME-M for their client based in Calgary, AB.
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance (AME - M) reports directly to the Crew Chief.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.
  • Must have strong trouble shooting skills with good quality workmanship.
  • Employee is expected to work towards obtaining an ACA.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Dash-8 and CRJ experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Report unserviceable maintenance equipment to their assigned Crew Chief.
  • Carry out inspections on aircraft following the applicable standards of airworthiness.
  • Ensure that all reportable service difficulties and maintenance irregularities are completed and forwarded to Quality Assurance and SMS in a timely manner.
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management.
  • Ensure all defects being deferred have been done following proper procedures.
  • Ensure material required for defect recertifications has been researched accurately and placed on order.
  • Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.
  • Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move on the job.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems to identify failures or potential failures and adjust or repair affected systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manual, and established procedures.
  • Maintain and repair airframe engine and propeller systems.
  • Perform and document routine and heavy maintenance.
  • Ensure the work environment is safe and clean.
