Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, repairs, and overhaul of fleet aircraft and shop equipment
  • Assist with apprentice mentoring
  • Doing all work in accordance with Pacific Flying Club’s MPM, MCM, and CARS
  • Receiving/ ordering parts
  • Moving/ parking aircraft
  • Keeping the shop, office tidy
  • Any other duties assigned

Qualifications and Assets:

  • A diploma from Transport Canada approved program for A.M.E. Category “M” (ICS may be acceptable if in progress)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years mechanical experience (minimum)
  • Aircraft maintenance experience with Cessna series and Piper PA34 series is an asset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Sheet metal repair experience is an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. May include some overtime over the spring and summer months mainly
  • some weekends in the winter for de-icing
  • May have to work in semi-confined spaces. Indoor and outdoor work possible at anytime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
