Job Description Role purpose Ensure customer on-time delivery for a given portfolio, (both within and outside AMEA), via seamless E2E communication throughout the Supply Chain (AI Planners, regional and country commercial functions, AMEA sites, customer service, distribution). To create and maintain the overall AI & FF&P supply plan across AMEA region for assigned portfolio, providing options to meet variances in demand and supply Ensure efficient use of Inventory (both regional and international), maintaining agreed customer service levels, whilst minimising working capital. Clearly communicate constrains in the supply chain via tier meetings processes and implement alternative solutions via Syngenta processes and understand customer constraints and issues through planning role in order to co-ordinate actions through portfolio planners to ensure country requirements are met. Dimensions Financial: Revenue x $, Budget x $ People: No of direct reports 0, No of indirect reports 0 Geographic Scope: all within AMEA Accountabilities Maintain balance of overall supply/demand requirements for their portfolio (3-27 months horizon) as well aligning and supporting asset planners in the short-term horizon (0-3 months horizon). Challenging commercial units (receiving countries) and third party demands, sales fore-casts & demand uncertainty as the owner accountable for the full 27 months horizon. Plan all products within their portfolio according to Global and AMEA Planning processes and policies. Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with the Production sites for assigned portfolio, Work in partnership with Supply Chain managers, Global planners, Asset planners and Demand Managers to ensure the optimization of demand/supply as well inventory throughout the regional supply chain (AI, raw materials, bulk and finished products), managing the trade-off between Customer service, Inventory investment and Production efficiency Review requirements in SAP/APO for assigned portfolio/AIs and ensure that it is up to date. Follow up with IMCs on purchase orders/ production orders for finished packs/ Intermediate; place Tolling POs to Toller according to production plan and/or against demand POs. Review of SAP/APO master data with country planners periodically and ensure timely update of changes, including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process.
