Skills and experience required:

  • AML experience is essential, ideally gained within a Legal firm
  • PLEASE NOTE only candidates with AML Compliance experience will be considered for the role
  • Experience of Financial Services compliance data protection, Anti-Bribery and Corruption compliance
  • Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills and can build relationships at all levels across the firm
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements and governance framework
  • IT proficien
Responsibilities

Reporting to the firms AML Compliance Manager, this role will involve:

  • Support fee earners with client due diligence processes, policies and procedures.
  • Regularly liaise with departments to obtain required information.
  • Coordinate required correspondence and communications in relation to AML checks.
  • Provide advice and guidance to each department obtaining client due diligence checks.
  • Responsible for verification checks within the team.
  • Review client accounts and fund processes, liaising with the relevant team internally.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments of clients and matters as required.
  • Assist with AML policies, procedures and controls.
  • Collating relevant information for reporting purposes.
  • Support the firms AML Compliance Manager with various projects, implementation of new regulations/procedures.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year
