Lead the Group AML Governance Function, and perform the following responsibilities, among others: - Lead efforts to ensure compliance with MAS 314 and associated MAS regulatory requirements, expectations and guidance - Align GE AML Policies, Standards and Procedures with OCBC equivalents, where applicable - Provide AML advice to business units - Conduct AML Compliance Assurance to provide assurance that AML-related activities performed by business units are in compliance with MAS regulatory requirements and GE’s AML Policies and Standards - Conduct regular review of GE’s AML Policies and Standards, manuals and procedures - Exercise oversight of AML activities performed by Group entities - Conduct enterprise-wide AML risk assessment and deliver enhanced EWRA framework - Conduct quality assurance and quality control in respect of GE’s Know-Your-Client and Transaction Surveillance activities · Have at least 10-15 years' experience in AML policy development, as well as deep familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements and expectations. · The candidate must be able to translate MAS requirements into practical operational processes and controls, enhance or streamline existing processes and workflows where required, assess control effectiveness, as well as translate data into an assessment of AML risk. · People management skills, initiative and drive are a must. Ideally, the candidate should have the ability to navigate large organizations and possess a technical understanding of AML systems as well as data platforms. · Past experience with the regulator and familiarity with AI will be favourably considered.
