JOB OVERVIEW

iFinance is looking for a proactive and experienced loan compliance analyst to lead the development and implementation of our new compliance program. This role involves building compliance frameworks, reviewing loan documentation, monitoring processes, conducting audits, and supporting policy implementation to mitigate regulatory risks. The ideal candidate will oversee regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, and manage our public reputation through effective review oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field (required);
  • 3–5 years of compliance experience in the auto finance, consumer lending, or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or managing a compliance program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (FR/EN).
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and reporting tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, finance, droit ou dans un domaine connexe (obligatoire).
  • 3 à 5 années d’expérience en conformité dans les secteurs du financement automobile, du crédit à la consommation ou des services financiers.
  • Expérience démontrée dans la création ou la gestion d’un programme de conformité.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en français et en anglais (bilinguisme requis).
  • Grande attention aux détails, excellentes compétences organisationnelles et en gestion de projets.
  • Maîtrise de Google Workspace, d’Excel et des outils de reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with federal and provincial lending regulations.
  • Develop training materials and educate internal teams on compliance protocols.
  • Monitor, interpret, and apply relevant laws and regulatory updates.
  • Review and approve new account setups and account opening procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct internal audits and self-assessments, and prepare the organization for external reviews.
  • Perform risk analyses on current provider performances and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create and maintain risk registers and compliance reports for leadership review.
  • Track and report key compliance metrics and audit findings.
  • Monitor and respond to Google reviews and other public feedback channels, ensuring prompt and professional issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with customer service and marketing teams to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Provide regular compliance updates and reports to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
