AML PROJECT SUPPORT:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AML Project Support for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AML PROJECT SUPPORT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves supporting a new initiative around sanctions screening within the AML Governance line of business. The role includes implementing, maintaining, and administering first line of defense programs to ensure compliance and efficiency in business operations.

AML PROJECT SUPPORT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 1-2 years of previous experience with projects in Project Management or Project Documentation capacity
• Previous AML experience of 1-2 years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct and run presentations
• Quick learner
• Industry-specific knowledge preferred

AML PROJECT SUPPORT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Previous experience with banking
• Analytical background

• Support the execution of strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones
• Assist in the management and execution of assigned business/group programs or projects
• Develop and promote first line of defense programs in compliance with second line of defense directives
• Interpret and provide advice on regulatory and internal risk management requirements
• Identify, investigate, analyze, document, and mitigate program risks
• Analyze program impact and effectiveness through periodic reviews
• Support internal/external audits and assist in action plan development
• Provide support for training and awareness programs
