Responsibilities

AS AN AMO ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Complying with HS&E policies and procedures.
  • Performing Electro-mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on Drilling service equipment.
  • Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards.
  • Assisting in incident investigations, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality.
  • Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a electro-mechanical field or relevant experience.
  • Have English and Norwegian language skills.
  • Have relevant industry experience (oilfield, automotive, machinery) with excellent electro-mechanical aptitude
  • Be a current passport holder, this will be required for travel requirements
  • Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical Be proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and following formal procedures.
  • Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills
