Responsibilities

As an AMO Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on Electrical Submersible Pumps
  • Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards.
  • Assisting in incident investigations, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality.
  • Overseeing pre-job checks and basic onsite maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of equipment
  • Operating and troubleshooting production machines to ensure reliability, safety and delivery
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly prints and parts lists, and following procedures and maintenance practices
  • Using measurement and gauging equipment and processes to solder and assemble mechanical devices
  • Following internal HSE policies to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Following and maintaining assembly records and communications to ensure compliance and regulations are followe

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrate good experience in a maintenance environment
  • Be able to use measurement methods and handling measurement tools
  • Have good computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Be available to work overtime and on-call/weekend as needed
  • Demonstrate proficient computer skills, including in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a desire to lear
