TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Have passed periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures and/or ASME IX
• Have at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in welding - GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and / or FCAW (Flux cored arc welding).
• Basic Microsoft office and computer knowledge to perform daily routine task.
• Have ability to learn SAP and perform system transaction.
• Comply with company’s safety requirements including perform mask fit test, hearing test etc.

As the Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Welder (Wellbore Intervention), you will be responsible for:

• Being competent to weld and performs welding according to the applicable welding procedure specification and/or drawing requirement. This includes familiarity on carbide brazing.
• Being knowledgeable in welding processes particularly GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) process.
• Being capable at hand grinding and pre-heat on welds.
• Conducting visual and in-process inspections in accordance with industry and Baker Hughes quality specifications
• Being competent to use measuring instruments and ensure product meets drawing requirement prior to release from weld station.
• Supporting shop activities and perform other tasks as assigned by Shop Supervisor
