Description

The Utilities AMP - Electrical Engineer provide technical guidance on all electrical systems to include interior electric, exterior electric, fire alarms systems, electric distribution, alterative power systems, panels, associated real property motors, etc.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Excellent communications, effective leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of complete design services including electric power distribution networks, power load determination, exterior electric, interior electric, and site lighting
  • Working knowledge of Design Review, Project Mobilization, Quality Compliance, QA, Safety, Project Controls, and Capture Management
  • Have experience with 2020 or newer AutoCAD software
  • Computer literate; can use Microsoft Office and Project, etc
  • Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the task.
  • Must be an Electrical Engineer and have knowledge of principles of engineering, planning, project programming, and ability to interpret plans and drawings.
  • Additionally, the EE must be well versed in electrical distribution systems.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
  • Must be able to speak English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Responsibilities
  • The Contractor will work with sub-AMP managers assigned to their area of responsibilities.
  • Become familiar with BUILDER status in conjunction with real property accounting listings.
  • Use BUILDER data to forecast and project future projects. Work between the shops, R&O and Engineering Flight to prioritize sustainment projects according to MDI, PoF, and Critical Component Effective Equipment.
  • The Contractor shall also conduct root cause analysis of failing systems, in order to accurately determine the scope of the projects.
  • The Utilities AMP manager shall coordinate and host a quarterly Sub-AMP Working Group, according to The Activity Management Process Operating Instruction.
  • The Contractor shall perform Quality Assurance on all data entries performed by 380 ECES personnel, to ensure the accuracy of the entries.
  • The Contractor shall also complete reviews for electrical projects, from the Operations Flight perspective.
