As a member of our CAD team, you will architect, develop, maintain and enhance AMS (Analog/Mixed-Signal) simulation methodology and solutions for our analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs. The role requires you to work with different technology nodes and provide flows/methodologies for the different tool sets. You will be collaborating closely with design teams. You will drive and coordinate efforts to develop and validate AMS/co-simulation flows, providing ease of use, speeding up design validation, and ensuring functional silicon.

DESCRIPTION

In this highly-visible role, you will: - Provide full support for state-of-the-art custom and mixed-signal flows, tool development, installation, and maintenance - Work with the design team to develop utilities and scripts - Drive design methodology to increase efficiency - Work with the CAD team to provide general CAD services support, utilities, and scripts while also working closely with the Design and Layout teams - Support tool configuration and application, as well as build and maintain relevant documentation - Support Virtuoso Layout and schematic software and release flows based on the revision control system - Involvement in test development, automation, and regression flow support

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in EE, CS or related field, or equivalent industry work experience
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, and the ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in using industry-standard mixed-signal simulation tools, including Cadence - Xcelium (Incisive), SimVision, AMS Designer; Synopsys - PrimeSim, VCS, Verdi; Mentor - Symphony, Questa.
• Experience with AMS simulation techniques, including discipline resolution, binding, IE setup, Connect Modules, AMSD block, wreal, TCL probes, real number modeling, UDNs, etc.
• Several years of professional experience in the AMS verification area.
• Proficient in Linux and programming, particularly Python3
• Familiar in data structures and algorithms
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
