Description
This role is with Amway. Amway uses RippleMatch to find top talent. What’s special about this team: People Analytics is a global team that empowers HR and business leaders to understand their workforce and make informed, data-driven talent decisions. We go beyond dashboards—translating complex data into clear insights that help improve the employee experience. While we are analysts by training, we are also storytellers, educators, and strategic partners, helping others build confidence in using data to drive change. How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: As an intern, you’ll play a key role in helping us unlock insights from our workforce data. Your work will focus on building a foundational analysis process—something our team can use well beyond your internship. By conducting exploratory analyses and developing clear, reusable tools (like regression templates or guides), you’ll help us move from ad hoc exploration to more structured, scalable approaches to people data. Your ability to communicate findings clearly will also support our mission of making data accessible and actionable for HR and business leaders around the globe. An example of a typical project would be: Developing a reusable data and project framework to bring together disparate data sources to explore longitudinal relationships. For example, examining how employee engagement survey results relate to key workforce outcomes such as turnover, internal mobility, or performance ratings over time. Specific Project Tasks: Gather and clean datasets from internal sources (with support from the team) Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns Run regression analyses (e.g., linear or logistic) to examine relationships between variables Collaborate with team members to validate findings and refine analysis approach Develop reusable scripts (in Python, R, or Excel) that allow future team members to replicate the analysis with updated data Create a brief visual report or slide deck to summarize methods, findings, and recommendations for HR stakeholders Draft documentation or a “how-to” guide to support others in using the analysis independently Expected Outputs: A reusable, documented regression analysis script or Excel model A summary deck with key insights, charts, and recommendations A written “how-to” guide for running similar analyses on other datasets A presentation or recorded walkthrough for the broader People Analytics team Required skills and background: Desired Major: Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Psychology (quantitative track), or related field Desired Class Year: Rising Junior or Senior Desired Skills: Completed coursework in statistics, regression, or data analysis Experience with Python, R, or Excel for basic data wrangling and modeling Comfortable writing documentation or creating guides for non-technical users Strong communication skills and ability to explain data findings clearly Experience with SQL or survey data Familiarity with HR-related topics like engagement, retention, or performance This role is “Not” eligible for sponsorship.
