Internship Job title: R&D Packaging Internship (Healthy Beauty and Home) Department / Division: Healthy Skin/PC/HC PD Hourly Range: $25 – 26/hour Location: Ada, MI Work Arrangement: Onsite What’s special about this team: The team is responsible for developing new and innovative package designs for our Healthy Beauty and Home products. Our team atmosphere is based on strong relationships and teamwork, resulting in award-winning package designs globally. The team coordinates global packaging development and sustainability efforts through partnerships with teams in China, Korea, and India. How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: This position will have a direct impact on creating positive package development and sustainability impacts for the company and its shareholders. The package engineering projects will help further grow our sustainability efforts while ensuring product protection to meet the consumer needs. An example of a typical project would be: Projects may focus on enhancing overall sustainability positioning by identifying and testing materials to ensure product stability and compatibility. Projects will focus on assisting the Packaging Engineer department with various new development and business sustaining projects, and will include time in our Packaging Sciences Laboratory, designing and executing test plans. Required skills and background: Desired Major: Packaging Engineering Desired Class Year: Sophomore or Junior Desired Skills: Proficient with Office tools (Excel, Access, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Analytical and communications skills Amway does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
