As an Anaesthetic Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting Anaesthetists, maintaining anaesthetic equipment, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Anaesthetists in the preparation and delivery of anaesthesia
• Maintain, prepare, and operate specialist anaesthetic equipment
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
• Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand health and safety regulations
