PINDARA PRIVATE HOSPITAL THEATRE DEPARTMENT IS SEARCHING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC ANAESTHETIC TECHNICIAN, ENROLLED NURSE OR REGISTERED NURSE TO JOIN THE TEAM.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or similar)
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse/Technician
  • Paediatric anaesthetic experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of issues associated with the perioperative setting
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster a positive and cohesive culture
  • Self-motivated and able to work as an effective team member with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Joining our Anaesthetics team across our Theatre department, you will work as part of a dedicated and professional team that see a broad range of specialties.

This role will see you ensure safe surgical outcomes are achieved and hold the following responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance and emergence from anaesthesia
  • Respond to unexpected outcomes and use problem solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department
  • Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace

Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster is critical for this role.
