THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Anaesthetics Nurses to join our Theatres Department at Wollongong Private Hospital. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as an Anaesthetic Registered Nurse. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay’s core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
  • Enrolled Nurses will be medication endorsed and IV Qualified
  • 2 years’ experience in an acute health care setting and anaesthetics experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
