We are currently scheduling interviews for Consultants to join Anaesthetic Department at a renowned major hospital situated in a beautiful coastal area just a short drive from Sydney. The Facility: 1 hour drive from Sydney, this is an acute care facility with more than 190 beds and provides services to over 30,000 patients every year. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, medical treatment, surgical procedures, and orthopedic treatments. It is equipped with an Intensive Care Unit that has High Dependency and Coronary Care beds. Additionally, the hospital has a thriving Obstetric Unit and provides pediatric care for children. The facility has 5 state-of-the-art theatres and a busy orthopedic department that also caters to pediatric cases. The case mix is diverse and the facility has a current team of 12 Anaesthetists, 6 Registrars, and junior support. On-call duties are rare and usually do not exceed once a week. AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable are also encouraged to apply.
