Position: Anaesthetist
Location: Adelaide, SA
Total Indicative Remuneration Salary: Up to $641,470

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anaesthetist to join team at a leading healthcare facility in Adelaide - ranked one of the worlds “Most Liveable Cities”,
Hospital is a 303-bed acute care teaching facility, serving a population of over 250,000 people in Adelaide’s western suburbs The hospital is renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community. REQUIREMENTS:
- AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or within 6 months of receiving the fellowship.
- International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience in anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including participation in an on-call roster across 7 days.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As an Anaesthetist, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective anaesthesia services for surgical procedures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer anaesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anaesthesia as needed.
- Participate in on-call rosters across 7 days.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
