Your Role (Hard Skills & Responsibilities) As the guardian of our core infrastructure, you will ensure high availability, performance, and strict regulatory compliance. Your technical mission includes: Operations & Maintenance: Full lifecycle user management, HW/OS incident resolution, and robust backup administration (VTL and physical tape libraries). System Configuration: Executing Tech Refreshes, managing licenses, and performing OS/400 updates, including firmware and Group PTFs. Security & Compliance: Implementing granular security policies (object authority, network controls), patch management, and maintaining rigorous system audit trails. Performance Tuning: Real-time resource monitoring (CPU, Memory, Disk) and workload optimization using WRKACTJOB, WRKSYSACT, and diagnostic utilities. Business Continuity: Managing the Disaster Recovery (DR) environment in Dallas, TX, maintaining replication, and leading annual DR drills. Automation & Scripting: Developing and testing CL (Control Language) programs and shell scripts to streamline recurring tasks and reporting. Who You Are (Soft Skills & Profile) We are looking for a resilient, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment: Global Communicator: English fluency is mandatory. You will be responsible for daily reporting and troubleshooting with the technical Indian teams and business stakeholders around the globe. Time Zone Agile: You are comfortable and available to work aligned with US Time Zones, ensuring seamless coordination with our Dallas-based infrastructure and North American operations. Hybrid Adaptability: You enjoy the flexibility of mostly remote work, while being available to collaborate in person at our Barueri/São Paulo office a couple of days per week (typically twice a week). Collaborative Partner: You work seamlessly with RPG/COBOL developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders across different continents and cultures.
