Analog Electronics Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Join our Electronic Systems team at OHB and be part of developing advanced electronics for satellite missions. You will be responsible for designing and testing high-performance electronic units that process high-resolution image data, manage precise motor control, and actively reduce mechanical vibrations, all within the demanding environment of space. Your Tasks

  • Design analog circuits for multi-channel, high-speed, and high-resolution signal acquisition chains used in optoelectronic detectors, as well as vibration, temperature, and position sensors
  • Support the development and implementation of signal processing and control algorithms
  • Perform circuit performance verification through simulation, including worst-case, part stress, and signal integrity analyses
  • Specify and oversee the layout of complex multi-layer and rigid-flex High-Rel PCBs
  • Collaborate closely with experts from various disciplines, including mechanical design, radiation and EEE engineering, manufacturing, and FPGA development
  • Conduct hands-on testing of circuits in the lab and during qualification and acceptance campaigns under extreme environmental conditions

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in analog electronics design, especially for high-speed and high-resolution signal acquisition
  • Strong background in power supply design for both digital systems and sensitive analog/mixed-signal circuitry
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language suitable for test automation (e.g., Python, C, or C++)
  • Skilled in the use of ECAD design and simulation tools (e.g., Mentor PADS Professional, SPICE, HyperLynx)
  • Experience with electronics development for space applications, ideally in compliance with ECSS standards
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
