Generic Job Description (not Job Level specific): Directs and guides the activities of a team with prime responsibility in Analog IC Physical Design. Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Reviews progress of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Direct people-management responsibility is typically required. (The Analog IC Physical Design Engineer / Architect is responsible to realize analog, RF, mmW layouts at IP, Subsystem or IC levels. The individual is responsible for fulfilling all Technology & reliability related rules, such as DRC/LVS/Electromigration/IR drops. Can contribute to problem solving related to physical design.
