With numerous long-term projects secured, DOF is expanding rapidly. We are looking for more colleagues to join our dynamic engineering team and contribute to our success.

We are seeking a motivated Analysis Engineer to become a part of our dynamic Engineering team. As an Analysis Engineer, you will be involved in developing models for engineering problems and analyze and evaluate various aspect for a design or system. Your creativity and expertise will be essential in creating and analyzing solutions to meet customers requirements and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By ensuring timely completion and maintaining exceptional quality in all assigned tasks, your contribution will play a crucial role in the overall success of our projects.

  • Working understanding of DNV-ST-N001, DNV-RP-N103
  • Flexible product installation analysis and lay table development
  • Lifting analysis for complex lifts (e.g. vessel to vessel and subsea)
  • Modelling of hydrodynamic forces acting on floating bodies and lifted equipment in the splash zone
  • In-place analysis and installation analysis of flexibles and moorings
  • Understanding of ship motions and development of RAOs
  • Excellent reporting skills and a proven ability to translate complex results into plain English
  • Use of software such as:
  • Orcaflex, including automation using Python. Strong programming skills in Python is an advantage
  • Orcawave, Rhino (ship hull surface modelling for RAO development)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant university degree within Engineering or other related subject.
  • 5-8 years relevant experience from offshore/subsea sector
  • Strong technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in (Engineering programs / systems )or similar is an advantage
  • Experience in analysis of marine lifting-, deployment-, tow- and hookup operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project and Orcaflex
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems in a pleasant and articulate manner
    Reporting to the Engineering Manager in Norway.
