As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be a key change agent in driving customer centricity and process excellence within the Record to Pay (RTP) and Accounts Payable (AP) organization. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure accurate, timely payments and reliable financial reporting, while safeguarding compliance and Shell’s reputation. What You’ll Do Efficiently process invoices in line with policies and controls, including corrective actions where needed Understand and apply tax regulations (e.g., VAT, withholding tax) Coordinate vendor master data setup and amendments Identify and implement process improvements Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., CP Ops, CP Data, Country Finance Advisors) Participate in change initiatives, migrations, and digitalization projects Support the AP Downstream and Global Functions community Promote a strong HSSE culture Own and execute your self-development plan What We’re Looking For Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration Minimum of 3 years of operational experience in Accounts Payable or related finance processes Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with SAP (preferred) Skills & Competencies: Fluent in Dutch and English Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Open-minded, innovative, and adaptable Well-organized and able to deliver under tight deadlines Passionate about continuous improvement and digital transformation Why Join Us?
