Conduct exhaustive secondary research through general Web searches or across different third-party data sources, such as Euromonitor, EMIS, Factiva, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Orbis, Capital IQ Pro, among others, and share the output in PDF or in MS Word/Excel/PPT. Illustrative types of information research requirements are listed below:
1.Information Retrieval: Provision of company information packs, comprising company filings, broker research, new runs, and other specified information.
2.Company and Sector Analysis: Company research and industry-specific or macro-economic research.
3.News Runs: Filtering of relevant news related to M&A, management, and material company announcements using Google or third-party paid sources.
4.Market Analysis: Sourcing of market data, such as share prices, currency rates, and ratios from multiple third-party data sources.
5.Other Research: Researching technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and analytical research.
Experience:
1.0 to 2 years of experience in consulting or research preferred, but not a requirement.
2.Good quantitative background, as they will be managing large data sets, leveraging Capital IQ and other sources.
Other technical skills:
1)Adept at Web-based search
2)Reasonable understanding of basic financial concepts.
3)Well-developed communications skills; written and oral fluency in English
4)Solid problem-solving orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced, team and customer-oriented environment
