Job Description: Junior Analyst – Aerospace & Defence Position: Junior Analyst / Associate Experience Required: 1–5 Years Location: Delhi, Bengaluru, Vijayawada Qualification: B.Tech (Mandatory) Sector Exposure: Aerospace & Defence (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Analyst with strong analytical skills, sector awareness, and research capabilities to support strategic initiatives in the Aerospace & Defence domain. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to consulting assignments, industry analysis, or research engagements. Key Responsibilities 1. Sector Research & Analysis * Conduct in-depth research on the Aerospace & Defence industry, including market trends, policy updates, competitive assessments, and technology developments. * Analyse global and domestic defence manufacturing ecosystems, supply chains, and emerging opportunities. * Prepare sector briefs, benchmarks, and opportunity assessment reports. 2. Data Analysis & Insights * Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple primary and secondary sources. * Build analytical models to support strategic recommendations. * Generate dashboards, charts, and visualizations to present insights effectively. 3. Consulting Support * Assist in drafting client deliverables such as concept notes, strategy documents, proposals, and presentations. * Support consultants and senior team members in project execution, stakeholder discussions, and background analysis. * Contribute to strategy formulation, feasibility studies, and benchmarking exercises. 4. Documentation & Reporting * Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing documents. * Summarize complex information into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders. 5. Stakeholder Coordination * Coordinate with government departments, industry partners, OEMs, and ecosystem stakeholders when required. * Support internal project teams in organizing meetings, workshops, and consultations. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills * Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). * Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and industry mapping. * Understanding of defence procurement processes, policies, and industry structure (preferred). Professional Skills * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. * Ability to work with cross-functional teams and independently handle research assignments. * Prior experience in consulting or advisory services preferred. Eligibility * B.Tech from a recognized institute (mandatory). * 1–5 years of relevant experience in: * Aerospace & Defence domain, OR * Data analysis / research roles, OR * Consulting / advisory assignments.
