Description
Roles & Responsibilities: Support merchants with post-onboarding requirements and queries, including document collection / updating and KYC verification - B2B. Handle post-activation requests and process merchant account changes accurately and within defined SLAs. Communicate with merchants primarily via email to resolve queries, request information, and provide clear guidance on compliance and account-related requirements. Perform underwriting reviews of merchant websites and business details to identify potential risk or fraudulent patterns. Collaborate with Business, Risk, Compliance, and Tech teams to ensure smooth post-onboarding operations. Maintain accurate records, trackers, and system updates across internal tools and CRM platforms. Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous operational improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in merchant onboarding, KYC, operations or support Exposure to fintech, payments, or banking operations is an added advantage. Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional, and merchant-friendly emails. Experience handling merchant queries, follow-ups, and closures primarily over email. Good understanding of merchant business models and transaction flows. Strong attention to detail with a process-driven and analytical mindset. Hands-on experience with tools such as Freshdesk, Salesforce, or similar CRM/ticketing systems is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple requests, and meet turnaround time commitments.
