Description
Roles & responsibilities •Deliver GL monthly closing and reporting services: •Perform reporting on time and according to closing calendar. •Ensure all automatic postings have been booked, all recurring and non-recurring items in area of responsibility are collected, accounts are reconciled, and Manual Journal Entries are booked. •Prepare ad-hoc reports and related analysis. •Assets and Inventory Accounting services: •Perform the recording & booking activities. •Perform assets, depreciation and valuation. •Contribute to inventory costing and valuation and calculate inventory depreciation. •Contribute to month end closure relating to fixed assets and inventory and prepare related reporting •Cash and Intercompany (ICO) Accounting services: •Clear transitory accounts. •Perform calculation of Forex net positions. •Perform bank reconciliations and related adjustments. •Contribute to month end closure related to cash and intercompany accounting and prepare related reporting. •Perform booking of transactions. •Master Data Management services. •Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner. •Perform operational KPIs and compliance with Wizz Air policies and guidelines and pro-actively alert execution issues. •Support closing and reporting teams at closing peaks. •Propose continuous improvement. Mandatory technical & functional skills •Hands on knowledge of ERP applications coupled with strong Microsoft Office knowledge and MS Excel expertise. •Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
The Analyst will deliver GL monthly closing and reporting services, ensuring all postings are booked and accounts reconciled. They will also perform asset and inventory accounting, cash and intercompany accounting, and support closing and reporting teams.
