We encourage our people to manage their work life rhythm in a way that works best for them and their teams.   Business Overview Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications. It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media. The role sits within the Global Client Solutions (GCS) team and supports the firm’s business development and fundraising activities across institutional clients. The position plays a key role in supporting investor engagement, market mapping, client servicing and sales execution, working closely with mid-level and senior members of the GCS team and internal stakeholders across the firm. The role provides broad exposure to private markets fundraising, with a particular focus on infrastructure equity and debt strategies and offers hands-on experience across the full business development lifecycle. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Support market mapping and screening activities, including identification and prioritisation of prospective institutional investors and consultants across target regions * Track prospect and client activity, ensuring accurate and timely updates within the CRM system * Support client and consultant meetings, including preparation of briefing materials and presentations, participation in meetings where appropriate, note-taking, and coordination of post-meeting follow-ups * Assist in responding to qualitative and quantitative requests from prospects, existing investors and consultants, including RFPs, DDQs and ad hoc information requests * Support the preparation, maintenance and continuous improvement of marketing and client-facing materials in collaboration with Product Specialists and Investment teams * Maintain CRM systems, data rooms and due diligence materials to support fundraising and investor review processes * Assist with the planning and execution of client and investor events This role offers a strong foundation for a career in private markets business development within a leading global infrastructure investment manager. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of infrastructure investing, fund structures and institutional investor requirements, while gaining exposure to the commercial and strategic aspects of fundraising. The role provides interaction with a wide range of external stakeholders such as pension funds, insurers, asset managers and investment consultants as well as internal stakeholders, including senior members of the GCS team, investment professionals and product specialists, We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in private markets and institutional investing, who is keen to learn, develop and grow within a dynamic, client-facing environment. The role offers the opportunity to assume greater responsibility over time and develop towards a more senior, externally facing role within the Global Client Solutions team.   Experience * Ideally 1+ years of relevant experience gained in areas such as finance, investment banking, investment research, product sales, product management, or a related field, within a comparable professional or institutional environment * Exposure to client-facing roles, product sales, and/or customer relationship management is considered an advantage * Demonstrated strong interest in private markets, with a particular enthusiasm for private infrastructure and long-term institutional investing Qualifications * Bachelor or Master degree, or equivalent qualification Business knowledge * Good understanding of private markets asset class and ideally private infrastructure * Good marketing and client communication skills * Knowledge of systems/databases containing investor & investment data Technical knowledge * Business level fluency in German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating into the ability to liaise with investors and IFM staff at all levels. Any other languages like French or Italian is a plus. * Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to develop high quality presentations, maintain and calculate data in excel spreadsheets, deliver state of the art client communication * Strong understanding of AI tools and their practical application in a business context, with the ability to use them to improve efficiency, insight generation, and workflow quality. * Experience with Salesforce is a plus * Empathy, people skills, ability to understand client’s needs and interests
