Overview Job Title: Analyst, Business II Responsibilities Job Description Gathering business and functional requirements. Developing requirements documents: goal models, functional modeling, business processes, customer interactions/wireframes; writing high-level user requirements (Epics and User Stories) and process flows/analysis in JIRA. Preparing use cases and formal requirements documentation. Analyzing and simplifying requirement scenarios and writing prerequisites and acceptance criteria. Working closely with business and technology teams to gather and write end-to-end business testing requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensuring releases are completed on time and with high quality by working closely with the product delivery team and tracking daily progress. Coordinating UAT activities prior to new product releases and client onboarding events, including defect tracking and resolution progress. Escalating issues in a timely manner. Ensuring adherence to audit, SLA, and operational standards. Demonstrating new functionality to business and technology users. Working in tandem with the Documentation team to produce user manuals and system documentation. Collaborating with the support team to ensure timely knowledge transfer. Providing analysis and support for project management, application development, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle. Acting as a liaison between the technology department and other business units. Leading business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts aligned with current and projected business needs. Quickly understanding business issues and data challenges within the client’s organization and industry. Providing expertise on system capabilities and limitations in relation to business goals. Preparing impact and opportunity assessments for cost/benefit analysis of proposed projects. Aligning stakeholders on business requirements, system requirements, program functions, and overall strategy. Qualifications Requirements 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst working with software applications. Proficient with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Wiki, MS Word, Excel, and Visio. Strong experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM). Ability to validate, refine, and optimize solution options through analysis, selecting options that deliver the greatest business benefit while considering customer and product objectives. Ability to form and present recommendations with clear justification to decision-makers and apply effective influencing strategies. Demonstrates flexible thinking, willingness to challenge the unknown, and applies practical judgment. Strong understanding of end-to-end business lifecycle and both stated and unstated customer needs to deliver value. Good domain knowledge with the ability to visualize new features and requirements based on industry best practices and document them for technical implementation. Clear, concise communicator who produces professional documentation with correct grammar, spelling, and structure, while identifying missing or incomplete information. Demonstrates active listening, values diverse viewpoints, and responds appropriately to others’ input and expertise.
