REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required. (Procurement/Project Management/Technical)

SKILLS:

  • Negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PP,ect.)
  • Ariba (procurement tool), Power BI and SAP experience (is an asset)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and team player with a positive attitude
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, would be an asset.

  • Prepare bid packages, evaluate bid proposals, perform commercial analysis and create detailed recommendations to award.
  • Negotiate, develop, implement, amend and monitor supplier contracts.
  • Identify and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure and manage supplier performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects internal to the Procurement team and with the Operations. Focusing on Spend Optimization, Demand Management and Strategic sourcing.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business needs, fostering synergy and maximizing outcomes.
  • Provide valuable guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement-related matters, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the procurement lifecycle
