About the role We are seeking an Analyst to join our Commercial Banking Property team in Adelaide. This role plays a key part in supporting the end‑to‑end structuring and delivery of commercial property lending opportunities, across both investment and development transactions, from origination through to funding. You will work closely with Relationship Executives, Product Specialists and Risk to deliver high‑quality financial analysis and well‑reasoned credit recommendations, while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Key responsibilities Prepare high‑quality credit submissions, providing clear analysis, judgement and recommendations to support sound credit decision‑making Lead financial and credit analysis for commercial property investment and development transactions, as well as cash‑flow‑based lending for construction services and real estate management businesses Proactively manage documentation, conditions precedent and funding requirements to ensure transactions are executed within agreed settlement timeframes Maintain high standards of data quality, compliance and reporting in line with policy, risk and governance expectations Partner closely with Relationship Executives, providing market research, client insights and analytical support to drive effective deal origination and structuring About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: A genuine passion for and interest in commercial property and construction Strong financial analysis skills, with sound attention to detail Experience or familiarity with cash flow modelling, in particular for commercial property investment and development The ability to multi‑task effectively and prioritise competing deadlines A proactive mindset with the ability to work well under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared outcomes Desirable skills and experience Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline Experience preparing credit papers and/or financial models within a banking or financial services environment An understanding of property and/or construction transactions, including cash flow modelling and transaction structures Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with bankers, credit partners, internal processing teams and external business partners Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgement, with the ability to quickly understand, assess and form views on complex transactions A strong risk mindset, with the ability to identify key risks, apply appropriate challenge and support well‑balanced credit outcomes Why join us!
