POSITION DESCRIPTION

The candidate will join our Real-World Solutions team and will be involved in development and delivery of Health Economics studies to help pharmaceutical companies communicate the value of their innovations to stakeholders by quantifying the economic outcomes of medical technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MSc degree in Economics, Health Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics/Econometrics or any other related field with a quantitative background with strong analytical skills. Fundamentals of health economics are highly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in a Consulting Agency will be considered as a plus and prior work experience in health economics is highly preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: strong skills in working with Excel spreadsheets and creating presentations with Power Point
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Stata/R/Python/SAS/etc.)
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Fundamentals of health economics are highly preferred
  • Good planning, time-management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-changing environment
  • Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Conducting literature review to source the required inputs to health economics analyses
  • Adapting and developing health economics analyses (e.g., budget impact analyses, cost/effectiveness analyses, etc.)
  • Writing reports, scientific posters and and scientific papers, both in English and in Italian
  • Developing and delivering presentations to clients
  • Support in preference studies (e.g., DCE, MCDA)
  • Statistical analyses leveraging internal and external data sources using programming tools (e.g., Stata)
