Description SUMMARY: Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. is seeking a candidate with excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail. The Pricing and Contract Analyst will be responsible for understanding and responding to key customer changes and product opportunities. They will leverage existing tools to bolster pricing analytics for offer development, new product pricing, price changes, strategic pricing projects and monitoring and evaluation of contract performance for all customer segments. The position will report directly to Sr. Manager, Pricing and Product Launch. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for the establishment, preparation, maintenance, and analysis of customer contracts and pricing documentation, including GPO and IDN, and for making recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions. • Effectively prepares, monitors and executes all pricing activities (formal RFPs, pricing, product availability, rebates, incentives, contract loads, amendments etc.) using a cross-functional approach to ensure company policies and sales goals are met and maintained. • Works with Injectable Team to execute IDN strategy. • Assists manager in gathering data, monitoring performance and preparing financial analysis in support of assigned customer segments and accounts. • Participates in contract and pricing offer preparation, contract and pricing administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. • Works closely with chargeback team to monitor transactions. • Build relationship with wholesaler contacts to ensure proper loading of contracts, memberships and pricing. • Prepares and communicates all necessary documents required in support of new product launches or widespread pricing changes. • Interacts with internal and external personnel to resolve discrepancies relative to customer information. • Reviews daily pricing exceptions. • Evaluates methods to optimize price, revenue, and margin through pricing strategies and competitive pricing and potential pricing change impact on customer’s book of business. • Updates Contract Master File upon completion of customer agreements. • Assists Finance with gross-to-net calculations for accruals, with resolving customer sales deductions, with reporting material shelf stock adjustments, and with resolving chargeback denial issues. • Assists Customer Service with researching and resolving pricing-related errors. • Understands industry standards, Zydus policies, processes and business standards. • Runs and maintains sales/metrics reports (pending offers, win/loss file). • Maintains pricing mailbox. • Maintains and updates internal SOPs and procedure documents. • Report and identify trends and non-compliant transactions. • Ability to resolve complex issues both autonomously and in a team environment. • Perform other related duties and ad hoc responsibilities as required. • Participate in industry training to ensure alignment to industry standards and best practices • Participate in special projects as needed Requirements QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: • Experience developing and customizing documents from templates. • Familiarity with Hospital, GPO and Injectable marketplace. • Must be able to handle a large volume of transactions and maintain high degree of accuracy. • Ability to prioritize and work well within a dynamic environment. • A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other key platforms. • Revitas, CARS Legacy, Model N experience a plus • SAP experience a plus • Analytical with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. • Ability to grasp concepts and ideas quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Quantitative mindset. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related business major. • Generic Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus TRAVEL: • Limited WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is an office-based position, located in our office in Pennington, NJ.
