DaVita’s Compliance team, “Team Quest,” is committed to identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to mitigate risk in a rapidly evolving healthcare regulatory landscape. As an Analyst supporting the Home Compliance team, you will play a key role in strengthening compliance oversight, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and proactively identifying and addressing risk areas within DaVita’s home-based care programs.
This role requires a highly skilled individual with strong analytical and project management capabilities, capable of interpreting complex regulations, evaluating risk exposure, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Sr. Compliance Manager and stakeholders across the enterprise to monitor activities, conduct risk analyses, and improve controls—particularly in areas related to False Claims Act (FCA) and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CHC, CCEP, CPA, JD) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated expertise in healthcare compliance, regulatory risk assessment, internal auditing, or related fields.
  • Strong working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Proven experience managing multiple cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Travel required: up to 10%.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute recurring and ad hoc compliance monitoring, auditing, and data analysis projects to identify risk trends and support proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze operational and billing data to detect potential FCA and AKS risk areas, including patterns indicative of overutilization, improper claims, or financial arrangements with compliance implications.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of potential compliance concerns, escalating issues appropriately and recommending remediation strategies.
  • Manage complex projects independently, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal compliance objectives, while meeting quality and timeline goals.
  • Interpret and apply federal and state regulatory requirements to real-world operational scenarios, delivering practical, risk-based recommendations to business leaders.
  • Draft and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring protocols, ensuring they are current and aligned with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Present findings and insights from data analysis in a clear, actionable format for leadership and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational departments to ensure compliance strategies are understood and effectively implemented.
  • Facilitate compliance education and training efforts to support regulatory awareness and promote a culture of compliance.
  • Maintain and manage compliance data systems, dashboards, and documentation with accuracy and integrity.
