POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Governance Analyst with a focus on Security Master Data to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience or academic background in finance, data management, or information technology. This role will involve supporting the management and enhancement of our security master data processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and contributing to the firm’s investment strategies through high-quality data management.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or financial data analysis.
- Experience in Private markets, particularly private debt, is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and take initiative in a supportive role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with data management tools and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit EDM, S&P CapIQ) is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, with a desire to grow and develop within the field of data governance and security master data management.
- Interest in global financial markets.
