Description This role will be onsite at our Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC office. Summary: The Analyst is a foundational member of the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team, responsible for supporting the origination and execution of transactions across Investment Grade Bonds, and Private Placements. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction types, with a focus on complex structuring and capital raising solutions. Analysts work closely with junior and senior professionals to conduct financial analysis, develop client materials, and support all phases of transaction execution. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to client engagements and strategic initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the execution of capital markets transactions from initial pitch through closing. Prepare client-facing materials including pitch books, offering memoranda, financial models, and timely market analyses. Provide support for lead originators in Debt Capital Markets on client engagements Support due diligence efforts and coordinate with internal teams to ensure transaction integrity. Analyze financial data of clients and prospects, including public and private comparable issuances, debt, and M&A transactions. Conduct valuation analyses and market research to support structuring recommendations. Track the market daily and collaborate with team on relevance of current news and potential implications/updates for clients and prospects. Maintain and update transaction comparables and industry benchmarks. Participate in meetings with current and prospective clients, supporting presentation delivery and strategic discussions. Collaborate with banking and product teams to deliver integrated solutions. Assist in preparing materials tailored to clients and prospects Maintain internal CRM systems closing checklists, and quarterly reporting. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field FINRA Series 79, 63 (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain shortly after hire Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years’ experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams Commitment to professional integrity and continuous development Ability to embrace change and contribute to a collaborative team environment This role will be onsite at our Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC office.
