Key Responsibilities FATCA Forms Review and Validation Assist the team with the global FATCA/CRS reporting process, ensuring adherence to internal control procedures. Prepare and refresh FATCA/CRS forms for clients as needed. Collect, review, and validate FATCA and CRS forms; follow up with clients if forms are invalid or incomplete. Coordinate with internal teams to monitor changes in circumstances that may require updated documentation and maintain accurate records on a day-to-day basis. Conduct monthly and yearly GIIN (Global Intermediary Identification Number) validation for clients. Manage re-solicitation processes every three years for expired forms. Monitor new legal entity creation and classification for FATCA and CRS purposes. Support tax-related ad hoc projects as required. Withholding & Reversal Provide resolutions to client and counterparty inquiries regarding US NRA (Non-resident Alien) withholding tax reversals and tax rate adjustments, primarily via team inboxes. Demonstrate familiarity with withholding rates and instructions, including authoritative eligibility (such as section 871(m)). Support the Client Tax Reporting team in daily withholding activities and client service matters. Stay informed about IRS regulations, particularly for foreign entities, withholding tax, and treaty benefits; research and resolve complex withholding tax issues. Tax Information Reporting Apply experience in US tax information reporting and management of US client tax documentation. Identify reportable clients for FATCA and CRS reporting.
